Silicone Wristbands Direct FAQs

1.Where is your company?

We are located in Lancaster in Lancashire

2. How do I get a quotation?

To get an accurate quotation, we suggest you fill out our simple and quick order form. Don’t worry you will not be charged for the order until you have filled in all the payment details and confirmed your order. If you have special requests or very large volume orders then give one of our friendly operators a call or email us with your requests.

3. What is the minimum order quantity?

You can order as many or as few as you wish.

4. What are your bands made from?

Our bands are high quality100% silicone.

5. What’s the turnaround time?

Standard turnaround time is around 10 days, however if you have an important event or date you need the bands for then please note this in the special requests box at the time of ordering. Alternatively email or call one of our operators for advice. We cannot guarantee delivery in your chosen time frame, however we will do all we can to meet your requirements. If in doubt ring us.

6. What’s a debossed band?

Debossed means that the text or logo has been engraved / sunk into the band.

7. What’s a filled band?

Filled bands are essentially the same as debossed but the text/ logo has been flooded with ink to make the lettering have more impact, these bands are for long term use.

8.What are embossed bands?

Embossed bands have raised text/logo.

9. What’s a printed band?

Printed bands are screen printed with your choice of colour. These are generally for short term use.

10. What sizes are available and can I order a variety of sizes?

For each size you will need to complete a new order by pressing the “continue shopping” button at checkout.

  • Adult 8” 202mm  (this is the most common size)
  • Youth ladies or teens 7” 180mm
  • Child or toddler 6” 150mm

11. Can I put a company logo or emblem on the band?

Yes you can, simply upload it at the time of entering your text. If there is a problem with your logo or artwork we will contact you before production. Logo’s generally look better when printed, as the debossing process can lose fine detail.

12. Will The Bands be a different colour to the digital proof?

Generally different monitors will not accurately represent your colour choice. If you have a corporate colour you can provide us with the pantone reference and we can use this at no extra cost just enter the reference in the box provided. Please ensure you fill in the pantone reference box when choosing your band colour, if in doubt ring us.

13. How many characters fit on a band?

Generally 44 characters will fit on a standard adult band.

14. I’m worried my artwork is not correct / is too complicated.

 If you are unsure about your artwork or want to use a logo and need to see a proof first, please tick the box entitled “send me a digital proof” we will then check your proof to ensure your design is correct and we will email you a final proof. You will have the opportunity at that point to approve the artwork or to request changes to be made.

15. How long does a digital proof take?

Proofs can take from 4-8hrs depending on how busy we are.

16. How do I confirm the proof I receive?

Simply reply to the email with “I approve”

17. I Don’t see a colour I like, can I choose my own?

Of course, simply enter your pantone reference in the request box.
If we are unsure of the reference or number we will contact you.

18. Can I track my order?

Yes, you can call us or email us quoting your reference number and as soon as your goods have been produced we will send you the tracking number of our courier.

19. How do I place my order If I need to use an official purchase order (P/O)?

Please put your P/O number in the details box. The P/O will appear on the VAT invoice sent to you on dispatch.

20. Can I pay by cheque?

If you need to pay by cheque just give us a call and we will be happy to help.

21. Do you add VAT on checkout?

No all of our prices are inclusive of VAT.

22. Will I get a VAT invoice?

A VAT invoice will be emailed to you on dispatch of the goods.
If you are a charity and are VAT exempt, then please inform us of this in the requests box and provide your official charity number. We will refund your VAT on delivery.

23. What if I need to cancel my order?

If your order is not in production (generally 24hrs from online order being placed) just give us a call and we can cancel it. If the band is in production then you will not be refunded.
If you spot a problem then please ring us immediately.

24. What happens if I am not happy with my bands?

Please call us and we will endeavor to resolve the situation, by either refund or re-make.

25. What do I do If I make a payment twice by mistake?

Simply give us a call quoting your reference number and our friendly team will refund you immediately.

26. What happens if there is a mistake with my order?

If the problem is a production or quality error, just send back a small sample of the bands and we will re-make at no cost.

27. Can I get a discount for ordering large amounts?

Very high volume orders are common amongst large organisations, so where appropriate we can discuss pricing options. Just give one of our sales team a call, and we will be happy to help.
